The Material
Noil is the short textured fiber combed from silk processing — heavier and more matte than standard silk, closer to a well-worn linen in hand but smoother. Not what you picture when you hear "silk." Better for daily wear.
Farmed on regenerative land in Peru and milled exclusively for OZMA. Not a commodity fabric. Not available anywhere else at this quality tier.

Heidi left Levi Strauss and Co. to build the brand she actually wanted to wear. OZMA launched in 2015. DTC-only since 2019 — you will not find it in Nordstrom or Net-a-Porter. Every piece ships directly from the Los Angeles studio, made in small batches.
The regen silk noil in the Foundation Set tee was developed specifically for OZMA with regenerative farms in Peru. Heidi spent three years getting it right. It is not available anywhere else.
